President's Speech
I found this video on youtube. I haven't been able to really find any recent articles on the reform and figured youtube would probably have something. I stumbled upon this video of the speech President Obama made in September and I'm definitely liking a lot of what he had to say. I can't wait to get my hands on some documents to compare what he said to what has been written.

Already tried
President Obama is talking about putting all these policies in action but I wonder if people know that they have already been enacted in New England and have been since the 90s. Unfortunately for the President these policies are the reason that New England has the highest health premiums and taxes in all the country.
I suggest everyone in Congress take a good long look at the New England states before making any permanent decisions.

Why is the government (taxes) paying for middle class???
There is a possibility that the government will make health care mandatory. This is not such a good idea. And for those who decide not to purchase health care they will have to pay a fine which will be added to their taxes. Another bad idea. Why are these bad ideas?
Well not everyone can afford health care.
Question: How does the government expect people to pay a fine if they can't even pay for health care?
Answer: The welfare system. Sadly enough if mandatory health care is enacted the government will extend the welfare system so people who cannot afford a plan won't be fined.
Problem: There are enough problems now with lazy people who know how to work the welfare system; this could make it worse. And the government has indicated that they may extend assistance to families making as much as $100,000 a year!!
Great to know that taxes will end up through the roof...
